NC State’s Scott Wood explains how losing to your rival feels

Shortly after the State of North Carolina lost to rival North Carolina for the 11th straight time on Thursday, reporters asked the young striker Scott Wood knows how frustrating it is to not have beaten the tar heels.

Response of wood brilliant in its simplicity.

"Did your husband ever cheated on you?" Canda Wood in response.

Then after a few seconds of silence is more difficult to imagine, he replied, "it's probably how frustrating it is."

It is clear that the wood was not in the best mood to remember how hard it is North Carolina played a game that was brought to 4.1 to prove his start in ACC play. Wolfpack shot 36.8 percent from the field, making 17 turnovers and only succeeded without opposition to the Tar Heel defense, when they were 80 feet from the basket.

Losses provide an important game for the state of North Carolina against the upper echelon ACC opponent Virginia on Saturday in Raleigh. The Wolfpack (15-6, 4-2) remains the best opportunity for the fifth ACC team in the NCAA tournament, but ran out of opportunities to enhance a resume that looks very thin at this time, in addition to November victories in Texas.
